Hi there,I'm the author of 'Midsummer Moondance'.I'm a headteacher and a youth theatre director. I live on a small holding in Wales and I’m inspired by the wonder of natural world, magic, and myths, and I love exploring the blurry area between reality and the supernatural.Since being a little girl, I have always loved making up and performing stories. I spent many hours in my friend's garage performing plays to my family and friends. Whoever would watch really!Later, I joined a wonderful youth theatre and was able to immerse myself in performing and storytelling. Encouraged by my drama teachers, I wrote and directed plays musicals, and films which the youth theatre performed.When I 'grew up' I became a primary teacher and youth theatre director, a musician and a mum. I continued to be obsessed with stories, telling my own stories to my children on long walks and at bedtimes. For the past 20 years I have enjoyed writing and directing plays for the youth theatre which I run.
